I just received my June stationery box from the Paper Club. I thought I’d share with you what I got in this month’s box. This month’s theme was a floral winter garden theme. On the card, it said ‘Bringing joy with flowers’ on the front and then on the back it describes what the theme is about.
‘The bright floral designs evoke the wisdom of nature. A flower doesn’t force itself to open but must simply wait to bloom. When we plant a garden, we know the flowers will take time to grow and through these actions we show our belief in a better future and a more beautiful world’ (The Paper Club 2021).
I like the theme of this box. You expect the theme for a winter box to be dark colours but the colours of the theme is a mixture of bright and dark. It has a blue, red, yellow and gold theme with a hint of green. The design somehow all works well together as one.
The box includes:
1 x rose gold ruler 2 x gel pens 1 x letter writing set 2 x greeting cards 1 x gift tags 1 x wrapping paper
The box is encouraging you to take time to make time. It says ‘get cosy and create something special with the gorgeous pens, nurturing within yourself the seeds for a luscious life’. I love the rose gold ruler, gel pens, the letter writing set and the wrapping paper. I will definitely use those. I love collecting greeting cards so I will add those to my collection. I am not a huge fan of the design of the gift tags, letter writing set and the greeting cards of the red flowers. I prefer the simpler designs like of the wrapping paper and the other greeting card but it’s still a gorgeous box and I love how it encourages you to write. Overall, I rate this box 4 out of 5 stars. I can tell a lot of effort has been put into it with their own packaging and designs. It still makes me excited for the next box!
Let me know if you have subscribed to the Paper Club. What did you think of it? Each box goes towards OzHarvest so it makes you feel good subscribing to it. Enjoy being a stationery addict like me.
What better to write a blog than to write it on a Thursday morning. It’s my day off today but I have class later in the evening. I had a productive morning as I am still keeping up with the Miracle Morning challenge as well as doing some admin stuff.
Today, I wanted to write about this stationery subscription box called the Paper Club. It’s a monthly subscription box where you receive stationery products with a different theme each month. I first discovered it through an Instagram ad or was it a Facebook ad? I can’t remember but I discovered on social media and it’s definitely my sort of subscription box as I am a stationery lover. You can check out my stationery account on IG: @natsmyplanner
You can view their past subscription boxes on their website and also sometimes they have limited edition collection boxes, for example, they had one for Mother’s Day.. They shipped the May box on the 7 May and it arrived a few days later so it was quick delivery. It comes in an A4 cardboard envelope box with their labels on the front and back with their socials. Inside the box it is wrapped in orange tissue paper but I am guessing their would be different coloured tissue paper each month.
I was surprised by the quality of the stationery products in the box. It felt like my birthday! The theme for this month was called the Bright Side. It’s about feeling inspired to create hobbies and to treat yourself. It was a lovely box to start off with. I really loved the illustrations on all the stationery products and it didn’t feel cheap. It felt like high-end quality products that designers have put a lot of thought into their products and I loved it! It makes me want to keep subscribing to their monthly subscription box. It is $19.95 a month so it’s not very expensive and it’s worth the money if you are a lover of stationery like I am. You can cancel at any time and there’s no obligation fee.
So here’s what is inside the box for May:
It’s run by an Australian company called Candle Bark Creations and based in Sydney Australia. Each box has 5+ items worth over $50 of cool stationery products. And to top it off each box sold by The Paper Club will go towards Oz Harvest, which feeds the homeless. This means that 1 box will feed 2 meals. Isn’t that great? It makes you feel good too. So check out the Paper Club box and let me know what you think in the comments below! I will do an unboxing post for each subscription box I get each month so stay tuned!
